I wanted to express my gratitude for the inspection, one of your inspector's, Jim Starkman performed on a condo in the Lincoln Park area. This would have been our first home purchase. Jim visually evaluated the condo as if he were going to purchase it for himself. We appreciated this immensely. Based on the information provided by Jim we decided against purchasing. This was a very difficult decision; however we didn't want to throw away several hundreds of thousands of dollars on a piece of property, which had water seepage problems. I look forward to working with him again in the future when we find our next dream home.

First, he arrived better than 15 minutes early and when I had arrived he had already begun the initial paperwork. He spent over an hour carefully observing and writing about the common areas of the building prior to inspecting the condo itself… I was impressed with his thorough approach. recently had a new roof installed on my apartment building and
garage.
Within weeks, my new roof began to leak.
I attempted to contact the roofing contractor on several
occasions to come and make the necessary repairs, to no avail.
Being completely frustrated and not knowing where to
turn, a friend of mine recommended that I hire a home inspection
company that he had used.
I than contacted you, you promptly came on site and
informed me that my roof was installed incorrectly and would
need to be removed and re-installed in order to stop the leaks
With your detailed report and photos outlining the problem
areas, my attorney was able to negotiate on my behalf and the
roofing contractor came out and re-installed the roof.
I notified the roofing contractor at the time that he was
installing the second roof that Insight Property Inspections was
coming out to inspect; and that made a world of difference.
